Cardboard City
Main information
Teamwork in constructing a unified joint project.
General Idea:
A program where participants unite in teams to build a large-scale model of a city made of cardboard. The city consists of several sectors, each with its own type of development (high-rise buildings, suburban houses, a park, a hospital, a bridge, etc.). Teams work on their sectors, coordinating their efforts to create a single city.
Goal:
Collaborative work on a unified project.
Program Stages:
Stage 1: Team Formation and Role Distribution
Each team receives a sector of the city to build. Team roles:
- Sector Architect – defines the design and layout of the sector.
- Builder – responsible for creating the main structures.
- Decorator – works on details and aesthetic design.
- Electrician – plans the placement of the string lights.
Stage 2: City Planning
Teams receive various city layouts to construct (high-rise buildings, suburban houses, a park, a hospital, a bridge, etc.). Each team studies its sector and agrees on boundaries with neighboring sectors.

Stage 3: Sector Construction
Teams work in their designated zones, creating objects out of cardboard.
The color scheme is taken into account:
- Main elements remain the natural cardboard color.
- Decorative details are painted (roofs – gray, trees – green, streetlights – yellow).
Stage 4: Presentation and Finale
Each team presents its city sector, explaining the design concept.
The final moment: synchronized illumination of the city using string lights, creating the effect of a "living" city.
